Today I sat on a boulder inside Kaumana cave and had lunch and did some writing. At midday the sunlight really blasts in. Quite a shock after 20 minutes hiking by the light of a headlamp.

This summer I began building a full-sized, completely liveable treehouse in the jungle plot I live on. That's a lot of what this blog is about lately, but you may find occasional nerdity, talking animals, science, and snapshots of living things.
