GPOYW - Hilo post office bathroom edition.
Today I sat on a boulder inside Kaumana cave and had lunch and did some writing. At midday the sunlight really blasts in. Quite a shock after 20 minutes hiking by the light of a headlamp.
A few days ago I was having a staring contest with Namaste, the white tiger at the hilo zoo, when a keeper drove by on a golfcart and he got scared and backed down the hill.
I love that this place is freakin’ empty all the time. Every time I go it’s just me and the animals.
Rainbow falls is one of my default hangouts when I’m up Hilo way. (the top part. Too many people at the lookout.) This was taken perched on the edge a few weeks back.
